Duffy Capital, the investment arm of Duffy Property Group, has today announced the appointment of Kevin Mahony as its Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”).
Kevin has over 18years of real asset experience, working in both the residential and commercial real estate sectors, as well as onshore & offshore windfarm development and construction.
He joins Duffy Capital from Fine Grain Property, a leading commercial real estate investor and operator, where he served as CFO – where the business grew to over €300 million of assets, working with institutional investors and family offices such as ISIF and Grosvenor. Prior to Fine Grain, Kevin worked with Hardwicke Property Group and SSE Airtricity.
Kevin will operate from our new Dublin office which will compliment Duffy Capital’s existing Galway base. He joins the business at a pivotal moment as it seeks to further institutionalise mid-tier residential development across Ireland and make a contribution towards addressing the housing supply shortage in the Irish market.
Kevin will lead the investment strategy of Duffy Capital, its equity / debt raising, and will continue to build long-term relationships with investors and stakeholders to unlock development opportunities across Ireland. Duffy Capital, alongside Duffy Property Group, recently delivered 203 quality apartments at Lisieux Park, Leopardstown to budget–forward selling the scheme to Respond.
As we now look to scale the business, the establishment of Duffy Capital will enable us to attract the capital required to significantly grow our development platform.Kevin will play a key role in ensuring we are well-positioned to deliver on our ambitious plans.
