Last week Cork City Council granted our planning permission for the long-vacant Vita Cortex on Kinsale Road, Cork. This scheme will see the creation of 170 new homes on the 1.2-hectare brownfield site, including:
🏘️ 158 apartments & 12 townhouse-style apartments
🏢 881sqm retail, 223sqm creche, 142sqm cafe & 100sqm management offices
🚲 Over 514 bicycle spaces & shared car & motorcycle parking
It is our vision to not only regenerate the site for an enhances streetscape and community but also to provide:
🏘️ Much needed, high quality housing for the communities of Cork
🧑🦳 Independent living units to serve the aging population.
👪 A new sustainable community within the well-established community of Ballyphehane
This is great scheme for the City which ticks all the urban planning and sustainable development boxes. Its was also a positive to get a clean decision 8 weeks after lodgement from Cork City Council through the Large Residential Development (LRD) planning process.
